Friends of B&F | The Art of Doing Art for Sascha

By BOB & FROU

Meet Sascha, a rising force in the theater world whose hair and talent both serve effortlessly! From drawing to doing theater, let’s deep dive into her story, here.

What does it feel to truly live your passion and be unapologetic about it? The moment we met Sascha – who is known as @tartarsoup on Instagram, we could immediately tell. She studied theater in London, with a stint on stage as both an actress and a director. Her passion, however, goes beyond that. Let’s get to know her!

I could say… since forever! Ever since I was a kid, I tend to get bored easily, so I like to explore a lot of things until now. Throughout that process I realize that I’m a creative person, and that’s how I get into art like theater, film, and drawing.

People’s reaction. Seeing the audience’s reaction makes me happy. I think it’s cool to see how people can be interested in what I do. I feel even happier when the person can resonate with the meaning behind the stories. It’s just amazing to see how people can utilize art as a way to cope. Art itself has made me happy and lets me enjoy a nice break from the harsh world.

My art would be quite in your face, I would say. I like creating something striking or eye-catching. I think it’s the best way to catch people’s attention. I prefer to let people pay attention first to my art then learn the deeper meaning about it later.

I think my hair kind of resonates with my art. The more I grow up, the more I feel like myself and my hair is truly a part of that. I have kind of straight-to-wavy hair, but I always love curly hair. So, I decided to perm it. This curl feeds my inner child and totally makes me feel like myself.

I Think I want to make people see more "weird" or explorative art. I just want to see more people making art that they like without following any standards. As for the hair, I really want to try something new like a pixie cut! Coloring my hair would be nice too, I think.
